Cryptocurrency enters academics

10th July-This week has been unfortunate on several levels for crypto currency, for example, it reached a severe low in terms of value in the market. Opinions were raised against it by several experts in the field due to the norms of regulations; these negative opinions from those who are known for their acumen in the field might have given a severe whiplash to this field. However, there have been some events in the past week which could yield a new facet to the bleak times which have been surrounding virtual currency for a long time now.

According to various sources, now an online course will be offered in crypto currency by the prestigious London School of Economics. It is necessary to understand that LSE has always endeavored to look at the way causes inspire the actions. Moreover, the swift manner in which crypto currency has taken over the economic realm and the growing interest in this field in spite of its arbitrary nature has led to this decision on the part of the London School of Economics. This is an online course which will be conducted in six modules, leading o a time period of sixty hours.

Moreover, it is not just London School of Economics which has thought about incorporating the knowledge of crypto currency in the fabric of academics. It has been found that University of Malta will also teach a degree in blockchain. This degree will commence from the month of October in this year. There is also Australian Public Research University, which will provide a course in the strategy development for blockchain; however, it is not just the strategies which this course will focus on but also the real time issues which have to be dealt with. This is Australia’s first course in block chain technology. It seeks to provide a holistic perspective to the understanding of crypto currency.

All these factors contribute towards augmenting the field of crypto currency with a sense of legitimacy which it had been devoid of for a long period of time. The entry of crypto currency in academics will lead to a lot of clarity on the part of users towards crypto currency. Moreover, those who abhor it simply because of lack of information available will also be more enlightened about the complexity as well as dynamism in the field of what has come to be known as crypto currency.
